Fact of the Week
There are Two Emerging Camps on Workplace Flexibility
Small companies — under 500 employees — are overwhelmingly Fully Flexible, with 74% allowing employees to choose whether to come into the office at all. On the other hand, big companies (25k+ employees) are predominately Structured Hybrid, meaning they set specific expectations on employee office time.
The big question: what happens to small companies when they “grow up?” Will they continue to embrace Full Flexibility, or move toward Structured Hybrid like their larger peers. The answer will have big implications for workplace flexibility and commercial real estate.
